| How do I use the system? | |||||
|
When you first use the Shopping Cart your basket-a container that holds all the products you are interested in- is empty. You can browse our product catalog easily, and get technical information, price and delivery data. To locate a product, use the menu structure to drill down until you find it. The Shopping Cart gives you technical specification, delivery and price in US Dollars, UK sterling and Euros. When you want to add a product to your basket, set the quantity to how many you want and click the "Add to Basket" button. Add as many products from as many product categories as you like. At any time, you can click the Check Basket link and see the full contents of your basket. Once you have added all the products you wish, you can:

| How do I place an order through my purchasing department? | |||||
| Fill your basket with the products you want. Each page has a link called Print Quotation. Follow this link and print out your quotation and raise your order through whatever procedure your organisation uses. We accept Purchase Orders by e-mail, fax, telephone or post. You can also order on-line and pay by credit card: see the next section.

| How do I pay by credit card? | |||||

To order on-line and pay by credit card, just fill your basket as usual. Then go to the basket page, and follow the link to pay by credit card.

| What currencies can I buy in? | |||||
|
We offer pricing is US dollars, Euros and UK sterling. You can order in whichever currency you wish, provided that you pay in that currency. If you have to pay UK Value Added Tax, this is calculated at 17.5% of the total value, in whatever currency you choose. If you pay by credit card, your card is charged in whatever currency you have chosen. If this is different to your home currency, your credit card company will convert the amount to your card's currency using whatever rate prevails on the day of the transaction. For example, if your credit card account is in Euros, and you set the basket currency to US Dollars, your credit card will be charged in US dollars and your credit card company will convert the amount to Euros using the rate applicable on the day the transaction takes place. |

| How do I set up a credit account? | |||||
| If you want the option to pay in 30 days, just us an e-mail with your organisation's name, address and contact details. A Value Added Tax (VAT) registration number is also helpful.
