Optima Research is incorporated in the United Kingdom (UK). Before placing an order by credit card, you must tell us whether you are required to pay UK Value Added Tax (VAT). In general:

1. If your organization is based in the UK, you will be required to pay VAT. If you can claim VAT exemption, you must fax or post an exemption declaration to us separately.
   
   
2. If your organization is based in the EU, but not in the UK, and it has a VAT registration in its home country then you will not have to pay VAT. If your organization does not have a VAT registration number, then you must pay UK VAT.
   
   
3. If you are based outside the EU, you do not have to pay UK VAT. You may be eligible for import duties and fees imposed by your own country however. These are excluded from our prices.
