Requirements

ZEMAX requires the current versions of Windows 98/ME, or Windows 2000/XP; 256MB minimum, 512MB recommended RAM (Physical optics analysis may require more); 200 MB or more of free hard disk space; USB port for hardware key; CD-ROM drive; Minimum display resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels; Internet and email access for technical support and program updates.

Note: USB hardware locks (keys) are supplied as standard. Parallel keys are no longer available with new copies of ZEMAX. Existing users with parallel port keys who want to swap their key for a USB key should order the item ZEMAX-keyswap above.

Prices include one year of technical support and program updates.

The annual support contract provides you with further years of unlimited technical support in the use of the program, and periodic software upgrades via download from the web. For users without Internet access we can supply updates on CD-ROM. Please purchase option CDUpdates. CDs are shipped approximately every month. You must be covered by a normal technical support contract in addition to purchasing this option.

To upgrade from ZEMAX-SE to ZEMAX-EE you must have a current annual support contract.
