New Version of ZEMAX Released (4th Feb 2010)
New ZEMAX Black box utility added, and birefringence is now supported in non-sequential mode.
The ZEMAX Black box utility allows ZEMAX to export a set of lenses as a single encrypted file that can be fully ray traced yet the prescription data is hidden from the user.
Birefringent media are now capable of being modelled in non-sequential mode. A new Birefringence tab has been added to the Object Properties dialog to allow definition of crystal axes and birefringent behavior. Splitting of rays into ordinary and extraordinary rays is supported, as is phase rotation of rays in waveplates. A new samples folder, in non-sequential/birefringence gives examples of use.
