on projects ranging from the pick-up head for Blu-ray to the design
of the James Webb Space Telescope.
Job
Profile: Your role as an Optical Engineer will primarily be
to provide technical support, but will build up to leading training
courses in the use of the software. Full product training will
be provided. You will also travel throughout Europe attending
relevant conferences and trade shows.
Qualifications/Skills required: You will have a degree in
Physics/Optics/Engineering and preferably a higher degree in Optics
or a minimum of one year of optical design experience. Experience
of ZEMAX is an advantage. You will be an outgoing and enthusiastic
person who is comfortable meeting and talking to customers. You
will have excellent communication and presentation skills and
be IT literate.
Residency:
You must have the permanent right to work within the United Kingdom.
Salary: Up to £30K (depending on skills and experience).
Location:
Stansted, UK. You must be based in the Stansted area or be willing
to relocate (relocation assistance provided).
