ZEMAX demo (13 MB.) The ZEMAX demo will introduce you to the user interface and features of the program. The demo is capable of loading and analyzing a variety of sample lens files. You may open analysis plots and run the optimizer on sample files.

To help you find out just what is possible with ZEMAX we have 4 web-based tours called "Exploring ZEMAX" that you can follow on the ZEMAX Knowledge Base. The tours demonstrate the demo version, Sequential and Non-Sequential modes of ZEMAX and also the Physical Optics Propagation (POP) tool.

Requirements

ZEMAX has the following system requirements:

  • Windows 98/ME, or Windows 2000/XP
  • 256 MB minimum, 512 MB RAM or more for Physical Optics
  • 200 MB or more of free hard disk space
  • USB port for hardware key
  • Minimum display resolution of 1024 x 768
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Internet and email access for technical support and program updates
